Top Artists of the Year to Date

Ed Sheeran has had the most airplay on Australian radio this year with a combined total of 61,537 spins from the year so far. This includes his most popular hits including ‘Shape Of You’ which has received 18,728 spins this year and is the second most played song for the year so far. ‘Castle On The Hill’ currently sits as the third most played song of the year so far with 17,919 spins.

Justin Bieber is the second most popular artist on radio for the year so far with a combined spin total of 48,612 plays thanks to his many features on tracks including ‘Despacito (Remix)’, ‘I’m The One’, ‘2U’ and ‘Let Me Love You’.

The Chainsmokers are the third most played artist on radio for the year so far, with the majority of their spins from their smash hit with Coldplay, ‘Something Just Like This’, which is currently the most played song of the year with 18,881 spins. ‘Paris’ also contributed to the spin total with 11,721 plays over the last nine months.

Sia sits as the 11th most played artist representing Australian music with hits including ‘Waterfall’, ‘The Greatest’ and ‘Never Give Up’.
