As Father’s Day approaches this Sunday, we looked at the top department stores, alcohol, automotive services and tools & hardware brands running ads during the last four weeks on radio and TV.
Domayne was the most advertised department store with a massive 3,940 spots across 33 outlets. More than 14% of these spots were aired on Triple M Gold Coast alone, closely followed by another Gold Coast station, 90.9 Sea FM, at 13.5%.
With 421 instances, Great Northern Zero topped the list of alcohol brands. Geelong’s KROCK aired the spot 31 times. Taking third place in the category was The Kraken, which aired all 262 ads exclusively on Triple M Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Advertisements for automotive service brands were up by nearly 18% compared to the previous four-week period, with Bob Jane T-Marts airing the most ads with 1,562. Adelaide station FIVEaa was out in front airing 158 spots, followed by Nova 969 Sydney with 116.
Sydney Tools was the top tools & hardware brand with 1,835 spots. On average, a spot in this category went to air every 7.1 minutes during the four-week period.
