Along with ‘Merry Christmas’, Paul Kelly’s ‘Christmas’ is the only other song on the list that was released in 2021. Mariah Carey’s smash hit ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ was released in the 90s, while Wham!’s ‘Last Christmas’ and Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ were both originally released in the 80s, lending to an influx of spins from Adult and Classic formats.
Overall, the Nova Network played the Top 5 songs the most with 489 spins, while Triple M stations accounted for all 158 spins of Kelly’s ‘Christmas’.
