Hit105 and Nova1069 shared 34.5% of their playlist over the last four weeks. Hit105 played a greater variety of tracks – 48.1% of tracks played on Hit105 were not played on Nova1069 in this time. The most played song between the two stations was ‘These Days’ the hit collaboration from Rudimental Feat Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen with 364 spins – not surprising as the track has enjoyed the top spot on our National Radio Airplay Chart for the past three weeks.
Hit105 still played a wider range of songs compared to 97.3, although the crossover was much lower at 16.6% with the two stations sharing 328 tracks. Camila Cabello’s ‘Never Be The Same’ was the most played song in this comparison with 269 spins. At the other end of the scale, 4KQ and Triple M Brisbane shared only 8.8% of their playlist, or 332 tracks. During this time, 4KQ played the widest range of tracks, playing 2,389 tracks exclusively – that is, these tracks were not played on any other Brisbane music station over the last four weeks. On the Gold Coast, 92.5 Gold FM and Hot Tomato had a crossover of 26.3% with 565 songs played on both stations. The most played song across the two stations was ‘Meant To Be’ by Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line with 179 spins. Hot Tomato and Sea Hit90.9 shared 9% of their playlist and amazingly they both played 1064 songs that were not played on the other.
