Banking & Finance Ad Analysis

According to AirCheck radio data, Bendigo Bank Home Loans was the top brand in the Banking & Financial Services ad category since the start of April 2023. 25 stations took the spot to air, led by Perth’s Nova 93.7 with 170 instances.

Accounting for 15.5% of all advertising in the category, Commonwealth Bank Group was by far and away the leading advertiser. The big-four bank held three spots in the Top 10 and registered a total of 2,545 instances.

The Mid-Dawn daypart had the highest share of Banking & Financial Services ads at 26.4%, followed by Evenings (19.2%). Bendigo Bank Home Loans and Kogan Money Black Card were the top brands in both dayparts.

Nine Radio’s 3AW aired the most ads in the category with 817 instances. Melbourne was the leading market for Banking & Financial ads, closely followed by Sydney.
