White Plains, NY —June 17, 2013
Famed radio and television software company, RCS, has announced the appointment of Keith Williams as its new Vice President for the Asia Pacific Region (APAC). Currently Keith is Managing Director of RCS Australia, a post he will continue to hold for the time being.
RCS President/CEO Philippe Generali commented: “The post of VP APAC has been dormant for seven years, but with our continued expansion in the region, the time has come to further strengthen our management structure in a way that will allow us to seek further growth opportunities while maintaining our legendary customer service.”
Keith Williams will report to Mike Powell, RCS VP International Operations, who added: “Keith has worked in the Australian radio industry for more than 40 years. Before he joined RCS, for the last 12 years he was on air, he held the number one ratings position for the 3pm to 6pm drive show on 2DayFM Sydney – which was the most listened-to radio station in Australia. So Keith really knows radio – he’s not only been at the sharp end, he’s been at the top of the sharp end!”
While at RCS, Keith Williams has pioneered many products beyond the company’s core scheduling and automation software products – including AirCheck (the Australian name for Media Monitors) which provides spot and music monitoring in all major Australian radio markets.
Keith Williams commented: “I am very pleased to take on this additional role. Together with the individual territory managers, we will continue to provide the best possible products and service to our customers, while looking for additional opportunities to expand the RCS footprint in the Asia-Pacific region with our new product suite: Zetta, GSelector, Aquira, RCSnews and our exciting new mobile offerings.”
