White Plains, NY (October 7, 2014) – The World’s Largest Broadcast Software Company, RCS, has upped Mike Powell to the position of SVP International Operations and Chief Compliance Officer.
President & CEO of RCS Philippe Generali commented, “Mike Powell’s responsibilities have grown tremendously since he joined RCS to oversee our International Operations 12 years ago. More recently, Mike directed our MRC (Media Ratings Council) accreditation process and to recognize his significant contributions we are pleased to expand his title to Senior Vice President International Operations and Chief Compliance Officer.”
Prior to joining RCS, Powell hosted top-rated morning shows on several UK music radio stations before transitioning to station management. Titles Powell has held previously include: Program Director and later CEO of the County Sound Radio Network, CEO of UKRD Group. Among the UK radio stations he helped to launch, were Pirate FM, Fox FM, 96.4 The Eagle, Kiss 102 and many more. He was one of the first in the UK to use RCS Selector software (at County Sound) and the very first to use its revolutionary Master Control automation system (at Star FM).
