AirCheck data from Survey 1 of 2023 (15 January – 25 February) reveals the top New Brands airing on AM/FM and DAB+ radio.
Kia EV6 GT led the way on AM/FM with 3,977 instances recorded across 35 stations. The ad went to air in all monitored markets as Sydney’s 2SM led the charge with 475 instances.
RedEarth Energy Storage ranked second on AM/FM with 1,254 instances. Airing exclusively on Triple M, it was the third most-aired brand across the national network during Survey 1, behind Total Tools (2,426) and National Tiles (2,105).
RedEarth topped the New Brands list on DAB+, recording 5,215 instances and averaging 124.2 spots per day. Perth’s Easy 80’s Hits notched 98 instances for Optus Smart Spaces, which ranked second on digital radio.
Overall, DAB+ aired more than double the amount of new brands during Survey 1 when compared to AM/FM radio.
