Red Hot Summer Tour was the top live entertainment brand on Australian radio in October 2022, according to AirCheck data.
The touring music festival – which boasts 25 dates over five months – aired 1,311 spots across 14 stations and six markets. Triple M Newcastle recorded 163 spots, the most of any station.
Love Actually In Concert notched 627 spots, ranking second overall. Melbourne’s smoothfm 91.5 was the top contributor with 75 instances. The spot featured most at Mid-Dawn (29.4%) and Afternoons (18%).
Overall, 14,251 live entertainment spots went to air in October, amassing approximately $1.47 million in advertising revenue. Melbourne was the leading market with 3,762 spots, followed by Sydney (2,689) and Perth (2,094).
Radio advertising in the live entertainment category was up 12.4% in October compared to the previous month.
