Harvey Norman has once again been crowned the top brand on Australian radio, according to AirCheck data from 2022.
The Aussie retailer aired 208,876 spots, an increase of 4.6% in radio advertising from the previous year. Wollongong’s Wave FM played the most Harvey Norman ads, accounting for 14,758 instances (7.1%).
Melbourne’s 3AW aired the highest number of unique spots during the year with 1,337. The station’s most played brand was National Tiles, which ranked second in the overall standings.
The most common category in the Top 100 was ‘Automotive Parts & Services’ with Tyrepower topping the category at No. 23.
Overall, 9,264,100 ads aired across Australian radio this year. Sydney was the top market with 1,779,378 total spots.
