Sydney Radio Music Crossovers

During the last four weeks, Nova96.9 shared more than a third of their playlist with KIIS1065, with 326 tracks played on both stations. While KIIS spun a greater range in this time, Maroon 5 and Cardi B’s collaboration ‘Girls Like You’ was the most played track across the two stations with 299 spins.

Comparing Nova with 2DayFM, the crossover was lower sitting just below a quarter. The most played track across the stations was Dean Lewis’ ‘Be Alright’, accounting for 287 spins. This comes as no surprise with the track sitting atop of our National Radio Airplay Chart for four weeks which you can find HERE.

2DayFM and WSFM had a crossover of 11.5%. The top shared song was St Elmo’s Fire by John Parr, receiving 44 spins. WSFM had more in common with SmoothFM, sharing almost a fifth of their playlists.

Triple M and KIIS1065 only shared 27 tracks, or 1.5% of their playlists, with the most popular song on both stations Panic! At The Disco’s ‘High Hopes’.
