With the results of Survey 5 2022 just around the corner, AirCheck takes a closer look at spots that went to air on Melbourne radio.
Overall, 389,621 spots aired in the market during the Survey 5 period. There were 1,799 unique brands, the most of any market in Australia.
3AW ran the most spots with 52,817 instances. The popular talkback station also aired the most unique brands with 594, led by National Tiles (688 instances).
RSN recorded the highest percentage of exclusive spots to market. 52.2% of all spots aired on the station were exclusive, led by Rubira’s with 826 instances.
1116 SEN ranked second for total number of spots with 50,229 instances. However, the station ranked seventh in the market for the total number of unique brands with 442.
