Triple M aired a combined total of 93,048 spots on monitored stations during the month of March, led by Harvey Norman (3,070). The SCA-owned network ran 1,983 unique brands during that time, 150 of which had never aired on Triple M before.
Cars & Trucks was the top ad category, accounting for 5.2% of all spots, followed by Tools & Hardware (4.9%).
‘Money (We’re Only In It For Love)’ by Adelaide outfit The Superjesus was the top song with 124 spins. It was one of four songs from the band’s catalogue to play on Triple M stations in March, along with ‘Gravity’ (60 spins), ‘Saturation’ (4) and ‘Down Again’ (4).
Half of the songs comprising the Top 10 were by Australian artists, including four of the Top 5. Triple M Sydney had the highest percentage of Australian music played during March with 30.9%, closely followed by Brisbane with 30.6%.
